Holiday Gift Guides

Now I feel I know a bit about the Disney Mom, because I am one. These items are geared more for making magic at home until she’s ready to book that next trip. These are all gifts I would love to receive, probably wouldn’t buy for myself (expect for the postcards set which I do own), and would remind me of the parks when I couldn’t be there.

Items Clockwise from top left:

Subtle Mickey Sweatshirt - This looks so cozy! I would pair it with the matching sweatpants for a comfy outfit to wear at home or to wear on the plane for your next Disney trip!

Disney Page-A-Day Calendar - Disney magic every day of the year! Each page has a beautiful image from a Disney film and includes trivia, insider information or a quote from that movie.

Mickey Ornament - This sparkly Mickey ornament is sure to impress, but Disney has A LOT of ornaments to choose from. Maybe one of her favorite character or ride? Sure to remind her of her happy place.

Corkcicle Mug - These mugs are just the type of thing that Mom wouldn’t buy for herself but would love to get! Their Disney princess line is so pretty, grab her a mug, or water bottle with art representing her favorite princess!

Mickey Waffle Maker - The perfect way to bring the magic home. Grab this Mickey Waffle maker and see if you can track down the official Disney recipe to recreate everyone’s favorite waffles!

Joffrey’s Coffee - If you’ve been to Disney you know that Joffrey’s is the king of coffee there, and unlike the Joffrey in GOTs this one’s good. I love that they sell all their different park blends for drinking at home. You could get Mom the blend from your recent resort stay or a special holiday offering, whatever she’s into! She can sip and imagine she’s rope dropping Animal Kingdom instead of the school drop off line.

Disney Postcards - Does Mom love to stay in touch and keep up with her correspondence? Pair this pack with some postcard stamps and she can send the family some snail mail from Main Street USA! These cards have amazing art from the Disney animated films and honestly could be framed as wall art as well. I own this set myself and have a small stack that I’m keeping for me for that exact purpose.

Luggage Upgrade - Is the Disney Mom in your life still using the same old ratty suitcase from college? Or is that just me? Maybe it’s time for an upgraded set, or just a carry-on so she can hit the ground running without baggage claim next trip! I am partial to this purple one, but there are plenty of fun colors out there to choose from!

The Airport Dad! He’s going to get us there not on time, but early. He’s organized. He will carry the bags and a child on his shoulders if he needs to. Let’s get him gifts to make his life easier and even more organized. He will get the TSA perfect passenger award with these!

Items Clockwise from top left:

Airport Code Dad Hat - He’ll always know how to get home with his favorite airport code on his hat.

Clear Toiletry Bag - He might leave you behind in the security line, because he’s cruising through with his 3oz liquids in these bags.

Air Tag Keychain - I’m sure this guy already knows to put an airtag in his suitcase in order to track it. Why not get these waterproof keychains to hold them as a bit of an upgrade.

Headphones - Look, we all have wireless earbuds these days, but on a plane you need to utilize that in-flight entertainment. I love this pair at a nice reasonable price point, just in case they get left behind.

Electronics organizer - He will never need to look for another charging cord because everything for the whole family can fit right in here.

Travel Backpack - Dad deserves a carry-on upgrade. This one fits so much and is pretty classy to boot!

Travel Cup Holder - He’s going to need to say caffinated to make it through your long travel day, so add this to his carry-on luggage so he can use his hands to carry more bags. :)

Shacket - The perfect travel outer layer to keep him warm on or off the plane. This is just smart packing. Dad will love it!

For your favorite Disney Princess in the family! They love everything girly and twirly and can’t wait to sing and dance to the next Disney movie. Here are a few things they can use both for a Disney trip and at home to keep their royal magic going.

Items Clockwise from top left:

Snack Container - Keep this princess from getting hangry on the go. This would be great for road trips, on the plane, in the parks, or even on the couch in front of their favorite Disney flick! They have so many characters to choose from!

Princess Dolls Set - Some of our personal favorites here in this set, which are small enough to take on the go!

Hooded Princess Towel - Now you don’t HAVE to bring your own pool/beach towel to Disney, but if you did, this one’s pretty cute. Otherwise post bath time princess is fun too!

Royal Luggage - While I’m sure this princess wont be wheeling their own luggage, we still need them to have something fit for royalty! What a great way to announce an upcoming trip! You could fill this with stuff for the trip too!

Water Bottle - We must stay hydrated! Princesses need water too! I absolutely love the Simple Modern brand for keeping drinks cold and they are easy to clean. Use this for school, or travel.

Princess Sticker Book - I love this one for travel because it’s nice and compact but any princess stickers and some paper can keep kiddos occupied for at least 30 minutes!

Princess Sweatshirt - I love that this one will fit even the older princesses out there and comes in several adorable prints!

Mad Libs - One of my favorite travel activities is Mad Libs and they have great themes for lots of characters out there, but your princess will love this one I’m sure. Younger princesses might need a little help understanding Adverbs, but everyone gets a good laugh when the story is read outloud.

Teens! Youths! They can be tough to buy for. Most relatives tend to go the money or gift card route - which is fine and honestly appreciated. If you’re looking to give a little something else this year I have a few ideas for the thrill seeker/theme park/travel loving teen in your life that might fit the bill.

Items Clockwise from top left:

Lanyard with their house crest - You need a lanyard in Universal. I firmly stand by that. Especially if you’re like our family and need that express pass. I feel like most teens are Slytherins. I will not expand further at this time.

A new Luggage Set - Teens can be tough to crack. Family vacation can be a tough one to get excited about sometimes, so maybe a nice new luggage set of their own - not matching the family will encourage them to get excited.

TRON Hoodie - This might be niche, but if they like coasters they will find this one cool. If not this one, find a hoodie or comfy sweatshirt they would enjoy and can wear to sleep on the plane.

Vlogging Camera - Here’s something I think a teen would be so into. Documenting your family trip. This camera is so small and easy to pack. It has a bit of a learning curve, but I’m guessing a teen would pick it up real fast. Let them take the videos and edit them. They will LOVE being in charge of it!

Rollercoaster Log Book - For the coaster loving teen (or even preteen) this is a fun way to keep track of their rides and anything funny or cool that happens along the way.

Jurassic Park Tee - Do they love the Velocicoaster? Get them a cool shirt to wear on it! Really any roller coaster apparel is appropriate.

Fun Travel Game - Full disclosure I’ve never played this one, but it looks fun and easy to take on the road.

Headphones - They will need to zone out away from you during your family trips. That’s okay. Give them these headphones and let them.

It’s time! Baby’s First Disney Trip! Sure they wont remember, but you will! They will see when you retell the stories for years and years how much fun it was. TRUST ME. TAKE THEM! Disney is great at any age. I will say taking a baby to Disney does take a little more planning (I have lots of tips and tricks if you want to chat). Here are some fun trip themed gifts for baby and parents heading to see the Mouse.

Items Clockwise from top left:

Ear protection - Disney can be LOUD. Protect those little ears.

Portable White Noise - Great for a hotel room or in the stroller for naps on the go. I love how compact this one is.

Autograph Book - Get those character photos and autographs! There are so many styles, but I like that this one has a page for the picture as well as the autograph.

Cute Disney Outfit - Honestly I have trouble not buying everyone an entire new wardrobe each trip. But baby deserves the very best! There are so many cute options out there. This is just one.

A Baby Wrap - a lot of attractions at Disney have no height requirement, meaning even babies can ride. I recommend some sort of carrier for your baby on these which gives you a little more control of them, but if they are a bit bigger they can usually lap sit.

Wet Bag - Bring a few. You can keep a change of clothes in them for your park bag and then if there is an “incident” you’ve got a place to hold to soiled outfit. Great for bathing suits, ponchos and other items too!

Princess Toy Book - Some sort of stroller toy would be good to have on the plane, in the parks, etc. This one seems VERY cute but just make sure it’s securely attached.

Stroller Fan - My advice, get two. Point one into the stroller on baby, and point the other one at you pushing the stroller. You’re welcome.

I hope these gift ideas help you find the right thing to give to your loved ones this holiday season. Let me know if they like them! Also I’m happy to help suggest other items for travel and trips in general, reach out with questions!

Want to give the ULTIMATE Gift? Give the gift of travel! I would LOVE to help you plan the perfect adventure with your family! Let’s chat!

xoxo, Molly
